Guiding Statement
The Well City Milwaukee calendar feature is designed to serve as a portal for the general public to link to wellness and health promoting activities within the Greater Milwaukee community that are supportive of developing and maintaining healthy lifestyles.

Inclusion Criteria
Event should focus on health promotion, wellness, healthy lifestyles, or prevention.

Appropriate topics include: physical activity, nutrition, cooking, weight management, behavior change, stress
management, preventive self-care, screening or risk assessment, smoking cessation, mind-body-spirit connection, etc.

Programs and events that are disease management oriented for a diagnosis-specific population can be posted.

Events can target any age group: infants, children, teens, adults, seniors, families.

Event format can be educational class, small group / support group, resource fair, skill building, participatory activity (walk, run, cycle event), or screening.

Event must be available and open to the general public.

Event announcement must include an event description (50 word max) sponsoring organization, date, time, place, cost, registration, contact name and phone number and a website link.

Charitable events such as walks and runs can be included but the fund raising component must be clearly stated.

Events or programs must be sponsored or provided by an established organization or company; for-profit or non-profit.

Exclusion Criteria

The calendar is not available for marketing or promoting a service. Only scheduled events can be posted.

An event may be excluded if incomplete information is provided.

Well City Milwaukee reserves the right to change these criteria as deemed necessary by the leadership.
